Considered one of the most popular highlights in Xi'an in recent years, this Silk Road historical theme show is full of old Chinese culture and history from the Tang Dynasty.
The live theater show has wowed audiences with its stunning stage effects and a dynamic representation of the Silk Road expedition during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). From the Tang capital of Chang'an to ancient Rome, it tells the story of young men heading toward adventure and great fortunes along the Silk Road.
Besides massive props and a large-scale acting crew, Legend of the Camel Bell uses 20 camels and 30 wolves onstage to recreate the authentic desert environment of this historical route. The newly built round theater seats 3,000 people with a movable auditorium that rotates a full 360 degrees, enabling an uninterrupted live show.
